Tunisair flights between Tunis and Khartoum will resume in the next few days, announced Tunisia ’s ambassador to Sudan , Imad Rahmouni.
In an interview with Sudan News Agency (SUNA), he added that this resumption will help support trade and to foster communication between the Tunisian and Sudanese business operators, stressing the role that could be played by the private sector in the development of cooperation between the two countries.
He said that the outcome of the recent visit by a delegation of Tunisian businessmen in Sudan has exceeded all expectations, pointing to the meetings of the Tunisian-Sudanese Joint Commission in the coming months in Khartoum , which will see the signing of 18 cooperation agreements.
It is expected that the resident representative of Tunisiair will arrive in Khartoum this week to complete procedures in order to facilitate communication between the two peoples and to intensify bilateral visits.
