A Tunisian-Italian livestock project will soon be implemented in Tataouine with joint funding in the order of 5 million dinars.
The project mainly concerns the production of red meat and dairy products and will create 102 direct jobs.
It consists of a unit of fattening cattle in Remada and a slaughterhouse in Gorthab (500,000 dinars) and also includes assistance to farmers for the creation of stables and the organization of training sessions for farmers.
