The executive directors of the World Bank have granted Tunisia US$ 300 million under an aid programme, PANA reported from here.
The aid is meant to help municipal councils strengthen their services and to better organize their administrations in a bid to offer the best services to about 7 million Tunisians who live in towns and who constitute about 70% of the population of the country.
The latest fund brings to US$1.2 billion the amount of funds allocated by the World Bank to Tunisia this year.
