Tunis: CONECT launches Innovation and Entrepreneurial Platform

With the support of QFF, The Tunisian Confederation of Citizen Enterprises (CONECT) is launching its Innovation and Entrepreneurship Platform (physical and virtual) “CIEP CONECT”

This platform dedicated to entrepreneurship in less favored regions of Tunisia is aimed particularly at women, young and others with project ideas to become entrepreneurs.

Through this project, CONECT aims to create the regions, an innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem making the company a driving force of inclusive development and developing a culture of solidarity among entrepreneurs and project leaders through coaching and mentoring.

CONECT offers them through this website and physical platform specialized training in business plan development and ensures their support until the fundraising and monitoring of projects after the creation, therefore combating the high mortality rate of businesses within two years.

This initiative of CONECT intends to offer a solution to the majority of blockages to entrepreneurship by getting involved in all stages of the life of entrepreneurial project from training to support until incubation, acceleration and growth and therefore makes easier for graduates to directly access information, assists them in obtaining the necessary financing from financial institutions, access to benefits and opportunities and shorten the path between the idea of their project, development and the creation of the company itself, but also ensures their incubation in godmothers and their first orders through its network.

CIEP www.ciep.org.tn will be launched July 17, 2014. It is a platform open to all holders of project ideas wishing to benefit from technical assistance services offered by CONECT.

The selection of best project ideas takes into account the involvement and commitment of the entrepreneur and the added value of the project in the region, the number of direct and indirect jobs that will be created but also the project development potential and its social and environmental impact.

This project of CONECT is part of the entrepreneurial platform of QFF which comprises hitherto BFPME, Entrepreneurship Network Tunisia, Intilaq, Taysir Microfinance and Tunisia Growth Association.
