Tunisia: grain harvest set to increase 60%

Cereal harvest for the 2014 season is expected to grow by 60% compared to the 2013 season, reaching about 22 million quintals.

This increase is due to the rainfall recorded in most regions.

According to preliminary estimates of the Ministry of Agriculture, preparations continue to ensure optimal conditions for the different stages of the harvest (collection and storage).
