Marquardt, a German group specializing in industrial electronic car switches and other components, opened, last Friday, its new plant in the industrial area of El Agba (Governorate of Manouba), with investment of 25 million Tunisian dinars.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the totally exporting unit is installed on an area of 24,000 square meters and will provide 200 jobs.
Harald Marquardt, owner of the company, said at the opening of this unit that the creation of the plant started in 2011, reflecting the confidence of the parent company in Tunisia as an investment site.
