Carthage Cement announced its financial results for 2024 at the end of the Board of Directors meeting held on Monday, April 21, 2025.
The figures reveal a remarkable performance in terms of profitability, despite a context marked by a slight decline in sales.
Total sales for 2024 amounted to 421.5 million dinars, a moderate decrease of 3% compared to 2023, when they amounted to 431.6 million dinars.
However, this decline did not prevent the company from significantly improving its profitability indicators.
Gross operating income increased by 5.4%, from 156.3 million dinars in 2023 to 164.8 million dinars in 2024. This increase reflects better control of operating expenses and improvements in the company’s operating efficiency.
The performance is even more striking in terms of net profit, which grew by a spectacular 27.3% to a record 70.2 million dinars, compared to 55.2 million dinars in 2023.
These positive results confirm Carthage Cement’s financial strength and its ability to generate value for its shareholders, even in a difficult economic environment.
