BIAT has announced the successful completion of a TND 90 million syndicated loan for Advans Tunisia, a leading microfinance institution in Tunisia.
The financing was structured and coordinated by BIAT as the lead arranger and mandated lead bank, bringing together a banking consortium comprising QNB, ATB, and Amen Bank.
A syndicated loan agreement was signed between BIAT, Advans Tunisia, and the partner banks during a ceremony held at BIAT headquarters on July 22, 2026.
The TND 90 million facility aims to support Advans Tunisia’s expansion and strengthen its capacity to provide microloans to customers with limited access to traditional banking services. The financing reflects the participating banks’ confidence in Advans Tunisia’s growth prospects and the strength of its business model.
As lead arranger and coordinator of the transaction, BIAT said the deal underscores its commitment to financial inclusion and its determination to support institutions that actively contribute to inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
The operation also highlights the importance of cooperation among banks in fostering entrepreneurship and reflects a shared commitment to improving access to financing for entrepreneurs who need it most.
