An online survey has been made available to Tunisian companies that are active in, or interested in, cross-border e-commerce. The initiative is part of the regional project “E-commerce and Digital Trade in the MENA Region.”
The survey’s main objective is to gather feedback from the private sector in order to identify the operational, logistical, financial, and customs-related challenges encountered in the field. The data collected will be used to formulate concrete recommendations aimed at improving Tunisia’s e-commerce ecosystem.
The survey results, which will be analyzed in aggregate form and in full compliance with confidentiality requirements, are expected to have a direct impact on upcoming reforms. They will also contribute to the preparation of the next national Public-Private Dialogue, which will bring together key public and private stakeholders in the sector.
This initiative represents the third component of the MENA project, co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and jointly implemented by the International Trade Centre and GIZ Tunisia.
