Carthage Cement: Domestic revenue stable at TND 128 million at end-June 2026

Carthage Cement’s cumulative domestic revenue from cement and clinker sales remained stable at TND 128 million during the first half of 2026, marking a slight 4% decline compared with the same period in 2025, despite weaker local demand, according to the cement producer’s activity indicators published on Friday.

The company said the second quarter of 2026 was marked by improved commercial performance, significantly narrowing the gap with 2025.

Cement production increased by 10% year-on-year in the second quarter, reaching 440,848 tons.

On the export side, cumulative revenue totaled TND 27.67 million as of June 30, 2026, reducing the year-on-year decline to 15%.

The company said this reflects a gradual recovery in export activity despite continued uncertainty in international markets and volatile external demand.

In the Aggregates segment, cumulative production reached 1.86 million tons, generating TND 11.18 million in revenue.

Meanwhile, the Ready-Mix Concrete business maintained its growth momentum, with cumulative production rising 11% year-on-year to 34,859 cubic meters by the end of June 2026.

Revenue from the segment increased 17% to TND 6.25 million.

As for debt, Carthage Cement’s outstanding debt stood at TND 285.675 million from the beginning of the year through the end of June 2026.
