The chairwoman of the US/Angola Chamber of Commerce (USACC), Jeannine B. Scott, is in Angola for a six-day working visit during which she will hold separate talks with a number of ministers.

She will meet the minister of Agriculture, Afonso Canga and Infrastructure, Fernando Fonseca, and also visit agricultural projects that have impact in Angola’s non-oil economy.

Ms Scott will take part an annual roundtable between the Angolan and American officials to review trade ties between them.

This is the second visit of Ms Scott to Angola this year to prepare for the next mission of American business executives to Angola, focusing on the agriculture and civil engineering sectors, according to the Angolan News Agency, ANGOP.
