Ways to strengthen and diversify military co-operation between Tunisia and France were discussed at a meeting Monday between Minister of National Defence Imed Memich and France’s ambassador in Tunis André Parant.
The Minister welcomed the various fields of military cooperation between the two countries, stressing the need to develop them in the fight against non-traditional threats, training and exchange of expertise, said a statement from the Defence Ministry.
For his part, the French ambassador expressed his country’s willingness to expand the areas of military cooperation established between the two friendly countries.
