Tunisia: net foreign exchange reserves fall to lowest since December 2019

The decline in Tunisia’s net foreign exchange reserves continues. Their level reached, on Tuesday, September 13, the equivalent of 23.7 billion dinars, covering 111 days of imports, their lowest level since December 2019.

The erosion of reserves is likely to exacerbate pressure on the exchange rate of the dinar and make its management increasingly complicated.
