The European Commission in Tunisia, on Tuesday, announced adopting the equivalence decision certifying that COVID-19 certificates issued by Tunisia are equivalent to the European Union (EU) Digital COVID Certificate. This decision stems from a technical assessment performed by EU services of digital certificates issued by the country, which will be connected to the EU’s system. The EU will accept Tunisia’s COVID certificates under the same conditions as the EU Digital COVID Certificate.
Tunisia has also agreed to accept the EU Digital COVID Certificate for arriving EU nationals.
