Prime Ministry launches survey on Tunisians behaviour towards coronavirus

The Prime Ministry launched a survey on “the attitude and behaviour of Tunisians facing the coronavirus (COVID-19).”

The survey is part of a study being conducted by sociology professor at the Tunis University Slim Masmoudi. It aims to gauge the attitude of Tunisians toward this highly contagious virus and apparaise the degree of compliance with preventive recommendations (hand washing, social distancing …).

Respondents have multiple response options to a series of questions in relation to the different reactions of citizens to the epidemiological situation in the country (anger, fear, joy, disgust or contempt).

Three questions pertaining to surveyed people’s contribution to anti-COVID-19 efforts, changes to their daily life and the degree of their optimism come at the end of the poll.
