The Secretary-General met today with H. E. Mr. Salaheddine Mezouar, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Morocco.
The Secretary-General underlined the importance of making progress in the Western Sahara negotiating process. The Secretary-General thanked Mr. Mezouar for Morocco’s support for UN efforts in Libya. The Secretary-General also expressed his sincere gratitude to Morocco for its contribution to UN peacekeeping.
