The government has decided to allocate 11.6 million dinars of the state budget 2022 as part of preparations for the general census of population and housing for 2024.
The report on the state budget for 2022 showed that under the mandate of the Ministry of Economic and Planning, the budget earmarked to the census is estimated at 141.6 million dinars.
The Economy Department will allocate 330.5 million dinars to improve living conditions in priority regions and contribute to providing basic services, including public lighting, drinking water, improved housing and vocational training.
Local construction sites will receive 244 million dinars to ensure the payment of workers and social contributions and consolidate self-financing lines, with an amount of 30 million dinars.
