The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Othman Jerandi, met Thursday with the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation in Tunisia, Etienne Thévoz, who visited him on the occasion of the end of his term.
On this occasion, he praised the support given by his country to Tunisia, particularly in the financial aspect and in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Jerandi also welcomed Switzerland’s confirmation of its participation in the Francophonie Summit scheduled in Djerba on November 20 and 21, a statement from the Foreign Ministry said.
On this occasion, he called on the Swiss diplomat to “diversify and strengthen cooperation between the two countries in order to take advantage of the opportunities available in all fields for the development of this fruitful cooperation”.
