Tourism receipts in Tunisia reached 5.8 billion dinars, at the end of the first nine months of the current year, according to figures from the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT).
This represents an increase of 42% compared with the TND 4.1 billion earned in the same period last year, an increase of TND 1.7 billion.
Expressed in euros, tourism receipts amounted to TND 1.73 billion (average monthly rate on the interbank market over the nine months of the year: 1 euro = 3.3528 dinars).
