Tunisia: 2014 budget to be adjusted, EU plans loan (BCT Governor)

Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), Chedly Ayari told the press on Monday, January 27, 2014 that the state budget in 2014 will be adjusted over the next few months depending on the needs of the national economy.

He revealed that the European Union (EU) is waiting for the green light to give Tunisia a loan of 250 million Euros, and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will review, Wednesday, January 29, 2014 Tunisia’s request to grant it another loan of $ 500 million.
