According to data provided by the Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation, nearly 202 Tunisian guest workers were recruited during the month of January 2015, up 10% compared to the first month of 2014 (184 hired).
Guest workers were mainly hired in education and teaching (87 recruited), 43% of the overall hiring, the administration with 31 hired and health (27 recruits).
According to the same source, Saudi Arabia ranks first in terms of recruitment of Tunisian skills with 85 or 42% of the total recruitment made, followed by Qatar with 48 recruited.
Arab countries are the primary beneficiaries, with 155 hired Tunisian guest workers (77%).
