Tunisia’s imports saw a decrease of (-8.8%) compared to the same month in 2019 (-17.5% in October).
In value, they reached 4,507.6 million dinars against 4944.5 million dinars in November 2019.
This decrease is mainly due to lower purchases of energy products (-39%), capital goods (-14.2%) and consumer goods (-3.5%).
On the other hand, imports of mining and phosphate products went up 41.4% and those of raw materials and semi-finished products rose 1.9%.
