As part of strengthening its activity, the company “AMS” has won tenders worth over 7 million Tunisian dinars (MTD). The local contracts won are mainly:
- SONEDE: providing water connection items for a minimum value of 4 MTD per year (contract was won for the first time in its entirety and for a period of 3 years)
- STEG: 1.2 MTD for the supply of 90,000 ground rods and 90,000 connectors
- Tunisair: 0.3 MTD for the supply of 66,619 parts.
As for the export business, AMS has managed to win a contract in Burkina Faso for a value of € 205,000 for the supply of 28,000 taps and is in negotiation for a new order worth € 452,000 on other taps and fittings accessories. Moreover, AMS had agreed in principle to open showrooms abroad in the form of partnership with the signing of contracts scheduled for the 2nd half of 2016.
In addition, several development projects and product diversification planned in 2015 have materialized in 2016 and will provide the AMS new competitive advantages such as the availability of a full range and the provision to customers of a complete solution especially in terms of valve installation.
