Libyan Minister of Economy, Mohammed Al-Hawij has discussed with Tunisian Minister of Trade and Export Development, Fadhila Ben Hamza, aspects of cooperation and follow-up on the implementation measures taken to activate trade agreements
Both officials discussed establishing a joint free zone between the two countries and activate transit trade towards the African market. They reviewed the obstacles facing Libyan businessmen and ways to overcome them, said Libya Observer.
They also stressed that several memoranda of understanding were signed between the chambers of commerce in the two countries in May 2022 to facilitate the movement of businessmen and financial procedures.
