Arab Tunisian Bank’s (ATB) financial statements for the first half of 2023 show a TND 48.2 million increase in gross operating income (364.885 MTD compared with 316.614 MTD yoy), net banking income of 167.343 MTD, also up 12.5 million MTD, and a healthy net profit of 10.363 million MTD, compared with 8.478 MTD at June 30, 2022.
Deposits received from customers reached 5,925,562 MTD at June 30, 2023 compared to 6,109,609 MTD at June 30, 2022 and 6,213,091 thousand TD at December 31, 2022.
It should also be noted that the share capital as at 30 June 2023 amounts to TND 128,000 thousand. Shareholders’ equity at the end of June 2023 amounted to TND 577,211 compared to TND 563,928 at June 30, 2022 and TND 566,847 at the end of 2022.
Finally, it should be noted that the Bank has been subject to an in-depth tax audit covering the various taxes and levies for the period 2019 to 2020.
