Tunisia buys soft wheat, barley and durum

Tunisia’s state grains agency bought in an international tender on Wednesday 25,000 tonnes of soft wheat, 50,000 tons of feed barley and 75,000 tons of durum, traders said.

The soft wheat was bought from trading house Olam at $249.11 a ton, cost and freight (/t c&f), they said.

The barley purchase comprised one 25,000 ton consignment at $262.67/t c&f sold by Glencore and another 25,000 ton at $262.68/t c&f sold by Casillo.

The durum was all sold by Glencore, comprising three 25,000 ton consignments at $270.73/t c&f, $272.48/t c&f and $274.29/t c&f, the traders said.
