Tunisia: citrus exports edge up 14%

Tunisia’s citrus exports increased from 9,765 tons estimated at 19.4 million dinars in 2017 to 11,140 tons for a value of 20.7 million dinars, up 14% in quantity and 7% in value.

These results are explained by the increase in the rate of export to the French and Kuwaiti markets in 2018.

The French market imported 10,353.5 tons worth 16.333 million dinars in 2018 against 9,097.7 tons worth 15.5 million dinars in 2017, i.e. a 13.8% improvement in quantity and quality. 5.1% in value.
