The average daily production of petroleum products in the week of May 18 to 24 in the fields in which the Tunisian Company of Petroleum Activities (ETAP) participates, stood at 49.2 thousand barrels, which corresponds to 7.20 thousand tons of oil equivalent (toe), against projections of a daily average of about 8.98 thousand toe.
Referring to the indicators published on Thursday by the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Energy Transition, it is noted that the daily production of oil amounted to 3.68 thousand toe, against forecasts of about 3.91 thousand toe.
Similarly, the production of natural gas amounted at 3.2 thousand toe, while the forecasts were for a weekly production of 4.69 thousand toe.
The same was true for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), whose production did not exceed 316 toe, compared with a forecast of 376 toe.
However, it should be noted that the average production of all these petroleum products increased slightly compared to the averages recorded during the past year, except for natural gas, which declined.
