Tunisia: Djerba-Zarzis Airport reports 10.9% increase in passenger traffic

Passenger traffic at Djerba-Zarzis International Airport posted an increase of 10.9% over the first eight months of 2012 compared with the same period last year.

According to a report prepared by the management of the airport, this rise is due to the 30.2% growth in arrivals, despite the 4% decline in the number of departing passengers.

French nationals occupy the lion’s share of the total number of passengers and aircraft, while Tunisair airline remains the most active among the 66 airlines operating at the Airport.
