In September 2023, AMI Assurances received notice of an in-depth audit of its tax position for the 2019 and 2020 financial years.
In May 2024, AMI Assurances was notified of the results of this tax audit, the amount of which was kept confidential by the company.
A provision for tax risk has been created to partially cover the amount claimed by the tax authorities, which amounts to TND 1 833 480 (principal and penalties).
A note to the interim financial statements also indicates that in April 2024, AMI Assurances received a notice of verification of its social security declarations (CNSS) for the period from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023. The results of this social audit have not yet been communicated to AMI Assurances.
The interim financial statements of Société Assurances Multirisques Ittihad –AMI for the period from January 1 to June 30, 2024 show a net balance sheet total of TND 638 525 742 MDT and a net profit for the period of TND 6 818 617.
