The European Commission is to give Tunisia 246 million euros (561 million Tunisian dinars) for various projects, according to an official announcement in Tunis on Monday.
It said the adoption comes under the framework of 5.5 billion euros agreed by the European Commission for political partners for 2014-2015.
The bilateral programme with Tunisia concerns three priority sectors related to social and economic reforms, strengthening of the basics of democracy and sustainable regional development.
The statement gave no further details.
