In a statement, at a conference on agricultural insurance, Agriculture Minister Lassad Chalk said that the period between January and the month of August 2014 was marked by bad weather, adding that losses suffered by Tunisian farmers are estimated at 50 million dinars.
The Minister called to encourage farmers to register with agricultural insurances.
