The level of foreign currency net assets amounted to 12,189 MTD to July 1, i.e. 112 days of imports, up slightly compared to the previous period, said the latest figures from the Bank Central Tunisia (BCT).
Indeed, until 10 June 2016, the net foreign currency assets have reached 110 days of imports or 12,106 MTD.
According to the same figures, banknotes and coins in circulation amounted to 9.790 MTD to July 1, 2016, while the global refinancing volume stood at 7.176 MTD until the date of July 04, 2016.
