Reported investments in the industrial sector reached TND 2,251.1 million at the end of November 2024, an increase of 3.7% compared to the same period of 2023, according to data from the Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investment (APII).
Partnership and 100% foreign projects grew 17.2% compared to 2023, to TND 186.6 million and TND 330.2 million, respectively. Those reported by Tunisians increased by 0.2% to TND 1,734.5 million.
The number of projects reported in the industrial sector went up by 13% to 3,086 projects. The number of start-up projects increased by 20.1% to 2471.
The number of projects declared by Tunisians grew by 16.2% to 2717.
In addition, 2,950 of the reported projects were for the local market (+38.8%) and 820 projects were for development zones (+14%).
