Tunisia joins Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction

Tunisia has joined the World Alliance for Buildings and Construction created Thursday, December 3, during the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP 21) held in Paris-Le Bourget from 30 November 2015.

Tunisia’s Ambassador in Paris Mohamed Ali Chihi signed Tunisia’s accession to the initiative, which brings together 18 countries and 60 non-governmental organizations in the world

The World Alliance for Buildings and Construction aims to reduce energy consumption in the buildings and construction sector, to minimize global warming.

COP 21 is held from November 30 to December 11 in Paris-Le Bourget.

The Ministers of Environment and / or Energy of countries participating in COP 21 will meet next week to take political decisions on the approval of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

This agreement should be binding, sustainable and differentiated.
