At the end of the first nine months of the current year, Magasin Général (MG)’s cumulative turnover increased by 6% to 770.5 million dinars, compared to 726.6 million dinars at the end of September 2023.
Financial expenses fell sharply by 25.4% from 25.5 million dinars to 19 million dinars between September 2023 and last September.
On the other hand, personnel costs rose by 9.2% to 63 million dinars at the end of September, from 57.7 million dinars a year earlier.
As a result, the ratio of payroll to sales increased from 7.94% to 8.18% between September 2023 and last September.
In addition, the number of outlets increased from 102 at the end of the third quarter of 2023 to 103 at September 30, following the opening of Batam Ain Zaghouan.
