In 2024, the cumulative net banking income (NBI) of the 12 listed banks reached a total of TND 7,102 million compared to TND 6,709 million in 2023, an increase of 5.9%.
The net leasing income of the 7 listed leasing companies increased by 6.4% in 2024 compared to 2023, reaching TND 562 million compared to TND 528 million.
With regard to the activity of the 6 insurance companies, the total amount of premiums written reached TND 1,522 million against TND 1,394 million, i.e. a remarkable evolution of 9.2%.
The financial sector, which is made up of 28 listed companies and has the largest capitalization on the stock exchange, generated a total income of TND 9,224 million compared to TND 8,663 million in 2023, up 6.5%.
