According to data provided by the Regional Tourism Commission in the governorate of Tozeur, the number of tourists increased by 18.9% during the first four months of 2014 compared to 2013.
52,517 visitors from different nationalities visited Tozeur in 2014, against 44,169 visitors in 2013.
The number of overnight stays went up 14.86% during the same period with 88,500 nights against 77,045 in 2013, reports the source.
