To promote the activity of the airport of Tozeur-Nafta, participants in the conference held by the association “Friends of Jerid” demanded the establishment of a regular flight at a fixed time so as to encourage customers to use the plane to travel to the Jerid.
They also recommended the promotion of the destination of Jerid with tour operators and travel agencies to attract maximum tourists.
The conference was an opportunity to develop a mixed assessment of the situation in Tozeur. Indeed, the annual losses in the region due to the cessation of international flights and irregular flights are estimated at 25 million dinars.
