The shipping line between Tunisia and Saudi Arabia will be operational next year, announced Agriculture Minister, Mohamed Ben Salem,
In a statement to the Saudi newspaper Al Sharq, he said that this shipping line should pass through the ports of Egypt and Algeria.
The project aims to facilitate trade between the Middle East and the Maghreb.
The minister called on Saudi investors to import fruits and vegetables from Tunisia instead of going to European countries.
