Remittances from Tunisians living abroad (TRE) reached the equivalent of 6,638 million dinars at the end of the first ten months of the current year, according to figures from the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT).
This represents an increase of 124 million dinars compared with 6,514 million dinars in the same period last year.
In euro terms, expat remittances at the end of October totaled 1,970 million euro (average monthly exchange rate on the interbank market for the first ten months of the year): 1 euro = 3.3722 dinars).
