The Director of the Joint Technical Services of the National Social Security Fund (CNSS), Mohamed El Abed, has said that the general situation of the social security system in Tunisia is worrying due to the lack of income and financial resources.
In a statement to Mosaïque FM, he added that indebtedness has weighed heavily on the National Social Security Fund, affecting the process of meeting its obligations to the National Health Insurance Fund.
On the other hand, he pointed out that this situation is not catastrophic and has not led the Fund to stop providing its services and fulfilling its obligations to the people concerned and to pensioners.
