Reported investment in the industrial sector reached a total of 2,437 million Tunisian dinars (MTD) during the first nine months of 2014, from 2,659 MTD in the same period of 2013, down 8.3%, according to the latest figures from the Industry Promotion Agency (API).
The number of reported projects reached 2,845 during the first nine months of 2014 against 2638 in 2013, up 7.8%.
These projects will create 40,142 job positions, against 47,589 jobs in 2013, down 15.6%.
