The “Société Industrielle d’Appareillage et de Matériels Électriques” Siame signed last June a framework agreement with the American multinational “General Electric” GE for the distribution of the range of gas meters manufactured by the latter.
The distribution of the range of GE gas meters will be made via the trade channel of the company’s subsidiary.
This distribution agreement is a first step towards the integration of the production of the range of household meters in Siame factories in Grombalia.
This new agreement strengthens an existing partnership between the two companies, which dates from 2004, in the field of manufacture of modular circuit breakers “Power Control”.
The introduction of the range of Gas Meters in Siame counting activity is part of the strategy to diversify the products of Siame and its subsidiaries and the development of their income for years to come.
This Agreement is expected to benefit from the expertise and reputation of GE and offer to the market best technology that combines quality, safety and reliability.
