The Tunisian Glass Company (SOTUVER) has published its interim financial statements as of June 30, 2022. These statements show a net profit of 17 million dinars, against 10.3 million a year earlier, a growth of 65%.
This higher profit comes mainly from the sharp increase in revenues, which amounted to 77.7 million dinars at the end of last June, against 52.7 million at the same date of 2021, up 47%.
These revenues come from export sales for 45 million dinars and local sales for 32.6 million dinars.
As for operating expenses, they grew from 40.2 million dinars to 58.5 million between June 2021 and last June, posting an increase of 45%.
Consequently, the half-yearly operating result is up 55% to 21.2 million dinars, against 13.7 million in the first half of last year.
In addition, the net financial charges stood at 3.3 million dinars, while the income from investments amounted to 1 million dinars.
