The Tunisian Glass Company (SOTUVER) has published its individual financial statements as of December 31, 2021. These statements show a net profit of 20 million dinars, against 16.3 million a year earlier, a growth of 23%.
This increase in profits is the result of the 15% increase in the company’s revenues, which amounted to 105 million dinars at the end of last December, compared to 91 million a year earlier.
These revenues come to 69.5 million dinars from export sales and 35.3 million from sales on the local market.
As for operating expenses, they went up from 75.8 million dinars to 81.6 million between December 2020 and last December, a growth of 8%.
Consequently, the operating income of the company is up 60% to 26.2 million dinars, against 16.4 million in 2020.
In addition, net financial expenses rose last year by 15% to 5.9 million dinars, while investment income stood at 1.3 million dinars, against 290 thousand dinars in 2020.
