The Treasury announced on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, that following the auction of short-term Treasury bills (BTCs) on August 18, 2023, a nominal amount of 700 million dinars was retained at an interest rate of 8.99%.
It also announced that the auction of 52-week short-term Treasury bills on August 17, 2023 was declared unsuccessful. The Treasury intended to raise 10 million dinars through this auction.
In order to meet these obligations, the Treasury reopened short-term debt of 700 million dinars maturing on August 25, 2023.
