The Tunindex rose 0.82% on Friday to reach a new all-time high of 20,158.70 points, with a solid trading volume of TND 14.3 million, according to broker Tunisie Valeurs.
SIPHAT posted the day’s best performance. Despite no trades being recorded, the pharmaceutical company’s stock gained 4.4% to close at TND 8.150.
BNA ranked among the session’s top gainers. The bank’s shares rose 3.1% to TND 22.500, with relatively strong turnover of TND 1.1 million.
AMEN BANK topped the day’s trading activity. Shares of the banking arm of the PGI Group edged up 0.2% to TND 86.990, generating TND 1.7 million in trading value.
SANIMED was the worst-performing stock on the TUNINDEX. Shares of the sanitary ware manufacturer fell 4.3% to TND 0.450, with only TND 2,000 worth of shares traded during the session.
ENNAKL AUTOMOBILES was also among the biggest losers. Shares of the multi-brand car dealer declined 1.7% to TND 23.750, with a modest trading volume of TND 80,000.
