The CEO of Tunisian Reinsurance Company, Tunis Re, Lamia Ben Mahmoud said in a statement to Africanmanager that among the major projects of the company is to expand internationally, particularly in the African market.
“Saharan Africa as our first target,” she said, adding that foreign sales of the company come to the tune of 45% from Arab countries followed by Africa with a 25% share.
According to her statement, Africa appears as a regional reference with the potential and growth prospects available to the continent. “We are very interested in the African market especially that the company enjoys today a good reputation abroad.”
Tunis Re is a well established company in Tunisia and well turned into Africa and the African market has strong potential and good prospects for growth,” she added.
The company also aims to consolidate its position in the domestic market and strengthen its contribution to the national economy.
