Tunisia: TUNIVEST holds 30% share in two African banks

The Tuninvest Fund, owned by Tuninvest, has acquired 30% of two commercial banks based in Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal, Zied Oueslati, co-founder of Tuninvest Finance Group (TFG), a private equity company targeting SMEs and SMIs in Africa, announced Wednesday in Express FM.

He emphasized the potential of sub-Saharan Africa which he called “homogeneous market with strong growth,” recommending Tunisian banks and investors to follow the Moroccan example and intensify their presence in Africa.
